Description

Calling the setup function for neogit displays a pure black screen for ~250ms, overriding the colorscheme of the terminal and neovim. This only happens with the v0.10 nightly build, on v0.9.5, neogit loads with no black loading screen.

Neovim version

NVIM v0.10.0-dev-2210+g38bb0e1da
Build type: RelWithDebInfo
LuaJIT 2.1.1706185428

Operating system and version

Windows 11

Steps to reproduce

nvim

Expected behavior

Neogit loads while respecting the terminal / neovim colorscheme, without a black loading screen.

Actual behavior

neogit.mp4
