Cubic Chunks compatibility reports

What is this place?

This is a place where you can report compatibility status of mods. Both compatibility issues and information about compatible mods are welcome here.
Don't be discouraged to report information about mods that have been already reported, but with older version of cubic chunks, forge or the mod. It is useful to know that an issue is still relevant after updates. Duplicated reports will be merged into one for a given mod and then deleted to keep this place reasonably easy to navigate and search. It is expected that your specific comment here will be deleted and it's content moved.
Mods that work should also be reported, even if it looks like mods of the reports are about incompatibilities.

Off-topic messages will be deleted. This is not a place for discussion.

What to avoid?

  • Avoid posting compatibility reports with modpacks, including self-made modpacks, unless an issue can't be reproduced after removing any of the mods. The less mods involved, the easier it is for other people to find an issue and potentially to fix it. If you want help with modpacks, consider asking on our discord server.
  • Avoid reporting issues with outdated versions of mods

What information to include?

A minimal report should include

  • Cubic Chunks version
  • Mod(s) version
  • Forge version
  • What works and what doesn't

While the above should be enough, try to provide as much information as you can.

What is already expected in terms of compatibility and doesn't need to be reported

At least unless testing shows otherwise:

  • Modded world generation not working with CubicWorldGen. This is expected. Report only when it DOES work
  • Rendering glitches at extreme heights (several million) when the same glitches occur horizontally at similar coordinates

Periodically, information about mods may be moved to compatibility table below.

  • Early Crash - Crash before Main Menu
  • World Load Crash - Crash when loading or creating a world
  • In-game (Unstable) - You are in-game, but the respective mod feature does not work at all or makes you crash
  • In-game (Stable) - The game does not crash occasionally, but glitches occur with the respective mod
  • Mostly Stable - The respective mod works, but has a few features that does not work as intended
  • Stable - Everything works correctly and as expected
  • Unknown - The mod has only been tested either in (Vanilla+CC) or (Cubic World Gen) but not both. Use Unknown in the field not tested.

the softlock is fixed? tldr: nether softlocks server. When you enter the nether the server locks up and doesn't unlock. For a multiplayer dedicated serve (may be a mod adding this feature idk) this means the server auto shuts off after 1 minute for taking over 60 seconds to do 1 server tick. For singleplayer this means that a: the game just sits there doing nothing and b: that when you click save and exit it cannot save as the server will never stop so you have to< manually kill minecraft.

Mostly stable. The windturbines can not be placed above 256, and placing them below 0 appears to break them, as the blades spin at light speed and power output is insane.

I checked it myself, the only real issue is the blades visually spinning very fast. Below y=0 they are spinning in the opposite direction, and deeper=faster. Energy output stays correct (24rf/t by default)

Everything seems to work except Doors. Axis, Sliding and Advanced doors were all tested and result in the same problem.

When you place a door from LittleTiles outside of 0-255, it places completely fine. But if you right click it to open the door, your game immediately crashes.
If you place a door within 0-255 and use it, it works properly. Issue only occurs outside of 0-255.
I've already opened an issue for this on their github here.

Additional info: OpenEye crash | Full crash report | This was tested with and without CWG and the results/crash report are the same (excluding mod listings, of course!) EDIT: Forgot to mention that this was tested on the Twitch launcher, however Twitch simply launches the official Minecraft launcher once mods are setup, so there shouldn't be much difference.

Edited by Barteks2x: inspecting the mod's code, disabling torch world generation should get around this issue. Should be fixed in next CC version

(I can't edit issues on GitHub, since I use an older browser for functionality reasons and rely on this plugin https://github.com/JustOff/github-wc-polyfill which does not solve everything.)

AtomicStryker's Minions mod for 1.12.2 is now fully working under the newest Cubic Chunks build! (See 8bf8767.) For now, the only issue is the master staff's lightning effect not rendering properly when in very high coordinates.

Status - Crashes with CC higher than 1254

@jimmyking2004 Yes, modded worlds are not supported at all by the converter. I suggest you make an issue there (though iirc there might be one already)

This has nothing to do with mod compatibility
