Protocol Driver Requirements

This wiki is for keeping track of required behaviors for protocol drivers.

• Capture/Overlay implementation should specify the pin or pins being overlaid or captured
• For Overlay new data must be distinguished from hold data (the mechanism for doing this has to be decided)
• Upon completion of a register read event non-sticky flags should be cleared
