Open the Tello app on your mobile device. Make sure your mobile device is connected to a stable and reliable Wi-Fi network. This is necessary to download and install the firmware update without interruption.

If there is a newer firmware version available, the app will usually prompt you to download. If it is not, you may need to navigate to Setting > More > More (3-dot icon) > Firmware Version.

In the Update Firmware prompt, Click Update (the blue button).

Now connect your mobile device to the Tello EDU drone's Wi-Fi network; otherwise, it will show like this:

After connected,re-open the Tello app on your mobile device then there will prompt "New Firmware Detected Upgrade Now" Tap it to begin the firmware update.

The firmware update process may take several minutes. During this time, make sure the drone remains powered on and connected to the mobile device.

Once the update is complete, the drone might automatically disconnect from your mobile device. Reconnect your device to the drone's Wi-Fi network.
