Please improve the Core Elements / Scaffold example

The Core Elements / Scaffold example is useful, however it lacks the part where the contents changes with the selection, e.g. when clicking item 1 and item 2 I would like to see the contents being changed dynamically.

This would show a best practice in handling events that are outside a template.

Here's a SPA example that changes the main panel content and uses core-scaffold and core-pages:

Generally, the demos for each of the elements try to be self-contained and not rely on a bunch of other elements. I agree that we need better examples of using all this stuff together in the context of an app.
