is it possible to add parsing for France in the extension?
I found on GIT this file with BIC codes for France.

On second thought: no. The list doesn't contain the bank/branch identifier needed to look up the BIC. See here: https://www.xe.com/ibancalculator/sample/?ibancountry=france

ok, how should such a file look like in order to be functional? do you have a kind of pattern/template?

It needs to be a publicly available file, containing at least:

• BIC (duh)
• name
• national bank id, in France this seems to be bank identifier + branch identifier
• address (optional)
