This is a Project made as a Diploma Thesis. This project manages the presentation devices of the HTL Leonding based in Upper Austria. Wit this Digital Signage System you can designe your own layouts with various out of the box widgets. Like playing project related prasentation videos, showing informative text, showing digital or analog clock and the wheather based on the GPS data of the display and much more. This system can do anything if you want it!
Our Project has three components, the signage server, the communication server then als a JSF-Website and an android application to use our functionalities.
Our part is the communication server between signage server and android app, plus a JSF Website. Through our Android App and Website the user can play media's ,simple ,via remote and super fast. Also there is a "Show News" function where the HTL Office can "post" news and they are shown on the Videowall in the entry hall of the school.
Our Project should help to easily and with a minimal effort create really beautiful Desktop Diashows and give the school the opportunity to show it from the best side.
