Getting Started

  1. Clone the repository

    git clone https://github.com/Yashdon999/Resume-Genrator.git

  2. Go to the project directory

    cd Resfolio-Resume-Genrator

  3. Install dependencies - use yarn (recommended)

      npm install
      # or
      yarn install
  4. Run the development server:

    npm run dev
    # or
    yarn dev
    # or
    pnpm dev
  5. Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

Contributions

Create a branch

Change to the repository directory on your computer (if you are not already there):

cd Resfolio-Resume-Genrator

Now create a branch using the git switch command:

git switch -c your-new-branch-name

For example:

git switch -c new-template-3

Make necessary changes and commit those changes

If you go to the project directory and execute the command git status, you'll see there are changes.

Add those changes to the branch you just created using the git add command:

git add .

Now commit those changes using the git commit command:

git commit -m "relevant-commit-title"

Push changes to GitHub

Push your changes using the command git push:

git push -u origin your-branch-name

Submit your changes for review

If you go to your repository on GitHub, you'll see a Pull requests button. Click on that button and create a new Pull request.

Now submit the pull request.

NOTE: Give appropriate title and a brief description with images.

Soon I'll be merging all your changes into the main branch of this project. You will get a notification email once the changes have been merged.
