We recently proposed a standard extension to the Token List schema to capture the relationship between L1 and L2 bridged tokens. For example, the entry for L1 DAI would contain a mapping to the DAI address on optimism, arbitrum, etc.
If you want to drive swap volume on layer 2 networks, this is a great way to do it! Right now the Uniswap App shows 0 tokens from the Set token list on optimism and arbitrum.
