@onelifeindia - The "team" does not respond to every issue opened. They do, however, review each one, and when that issue, bug, or enhancement is ready for triage, it may get added to the project roadmap. Currently, the customer account sections are not on the roadmap that I can see, but fingers crossed, soon — as a few issues have been opened. You will see a tag added to this issue when it enters the iteration roadmap.
In the meantime, if you need this feature ASAP, you can file a ticket with customer support, add it yourself, or hire a third-party Shopify Expert. Best of luck!
