Menu drawer overlay does not disappear until "Save" action in the editor

Describe the current behavior

In the editor, when you select the "Drawer" desktop menu type but haven't saved your action yet, the drawer overlay never disappears:

To reproduce:

1. Open the editor.
2. Change the "Desktop menu type" to "Drawer"
3. Open the menu in the preview area.
4. Try to close the menu in the preview area. Note that the overlay remains.
5. Press the "Save" button. Note that the overlay dismisses normally and the drawer behaves as expected.

Describe the expected behavior

I'd expect the menu to close normally, even before I hit the save button.
