Cactus hitboxes are not restored after disabling "1.12 Farm Selection Boxes" in runtime

What's the issue?

If you enable the option, see that it has been applied, and then disable it, the cactus hitbox will not be restored to its previous state. A game restart is required to apply the changes.

Why do you need to toggle an option while playing?

When farming a very long line of cacti at the maximum effective speed (464) on Hypixel, at some point, due to the 1.12+ hitboxes, the targeting occurs at the gap between cacti and this stops breaking blocks, for quite a long time, which reduces the effectiveness, which is unpleasant (confirmed by multiple users, here and here).
I'm comfortable having 1.12+ hitboxes on all crops except cactus, so I was thinking of switching it when needed, but I found this bug.

Possible solutions?

• Fix the bug itself.
• Option to toggle 1.12+ hitboxes specifically for cactus (disabled by default; I would prefer this option).
