Skyvern should manage target fail and reply an issue or cancel the request
and that is what is not happening
I am validating 2 states, running or failed, so Skyvern in that case should set the task as failed

There's an upcoming project (<1mo) that will help improve failure statuses and related messages.

It's definitely a valid concern and the suggestion about stale status makes sense but ideally we should understand what's going on. Then, mark the task as failed with the correct failure reason instead of introducing stale as a valid status. LMKWYT

Add flag , verbose

This will let the agent "say" what he's doing with verbose mode, and update in the terminal whatever is done, debug it....and understand why he's stuck.

I think I might(?) be having the same issue? My tasks are just failing, even the default ones. There's no diagnosis information, only that the max retries exceeded:
