A question about ffxiv.exe on .18

Will we need the .18 version of ffxiv.exe or the .15 version will still works just fine?

You can use the 6.15 client exe just fine, no need to update. It only needs the Oodle functions which were added in 6.15, the client itself doesn't matter much as long as those functions are present, at least until SE changes it again. The free trial client should work fine too.

Do you happen to know what the ffxiv.exe file was called originally? I don't seem to have it. Only variations of ffxivsetup.exe, ffxivboot.exe, ffxivlauncher.exe
