The SoundScape Renderer (SSR) is a tool for real-time spatial audio reproduction, providing a variety of rendering algorithms.

It can be used on systems running GNU/Linux and Mac OS X 10.6/10.7. You may also be able to run it on other Unix-like operating systems, but we never tried it.For Mac OS X, we provide a pre-compiled Application bundle and for GNU/Linux, you have to (and for Mac OS X you can) compile the SSR from the source code.

It was developed at the Quality and Usability Lab at TU Berlin (http://qu.tu-berlin.de) and is now further developed at the Institut für Nachrichtentechnik at Universität Rostock (http://int.uni-rostock.de).

We didn't try any other operating systems, but if you did, feel free to edit this Wiki-page or drop us a note at ssr@spatialaudio.net.
