I'm using the installation instructions from Tale of Two Wastelands and when I have Special K installed I can't control anything, mouse and keyboard does not work at all, and nothing happens with ctrl + shift + backspace

Probably Raw Input-related. Bethesda games have really weird input code... they have weird everything, to be fair.

Try disabling the Steam overlay, etc. ReShade and the Steam overlay both use RawInput.

I disabled it but it seems I still have no input in the game at all unfortunately.
