Important update: High pagination rate limits to Support endpoints

I'm wondering if something must be changed according to the latest ZenDesk's news:

What is changing?

Effective September 15, 2021, we will be implementing rate limits on all OBP requests beyond 1,000 pages (and 100,000 resources).

In order to protect Zendesk infrastructure and encourage a shift to cursor-based pagination (CBP), requests made beyond 1,000 pages will still be allowed, but will be limited to 10 requests per minute. This will impact how long it takes to get data with very high page offsets.

Please note that OBP requests for fewer than 1,000 pages will not be affected, nor will requests made using the CBP model.

What do I need to do?

At this point, nothing. However, as a best practice, and to avoid experiencing rate limits on deep pagination requests in the future, Zendesk recommends using cursor pagination instead of offset pagination where possible. Click here to learn more.
