Guess time codes feature

Firstly I just want to say it loud, I keep finding more and more useful features within subtitle edit, it really is a great project.

I'm trying the "guess time code" option.

I want it to grab longer time codes, it defines too short lines that need to be manually merged...
So far dialing up the "block average" values won't do the trick, any tips?
