Documentation: https://nodejs.org/api/domain.html

Users who absolutely must have the functionality that domains provide may rely on it for the time being but should expect to have to migrate to a different solution in the future.

Discussion here: nodejs/node#66

Maybe it's time to next version based on https://github.com/angular/zone.js or other solution?

When a proposal as to what is supposed to replace Domains comes from the Node foundation it will be time to switch. For now it's been deprecated for years (as in will be removed for sure), with no clear upgrade path, but many considered ones.

I'm not in favor of Zones, unless the ES zones proposal get through, seems like patchwork.
