Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

No response

Describe the solution you'd like

It would be great, if Tandoor could get some kind of wishlist feature. It keeps on happening to me, that I browse my recipe collection, thinking "Oh, I should make that again soon." When I then plan meals for the upcoming week, I do not always remember what I had found before. It would be great to have some kind of button to add recipes to a wishlist, which you could chose from later when scheduling with the meal-plan. This wishlist should be shared between all members of a space.

Describe alternatives you've considered

I know there is the bookmark function. But I cannot access bookmarks within the meal planner.

Yes, something like that always happens to me as well.

Not sure when it will happen but maybe at some point

as I am currently migrating everything to #2976 no features like this will be implemented/merged until the migration is done

Hello! I’m a student at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, and my team and I are working on a Software Engineering project for our course. We’re required to contribute to open-source projects, and this issue caught our attention—it looks like a great fit for what we’re learning right now.

We understand that no features like this will be merged until the migration to #2976 is complete, but we’d still like to tackle this issue in the meantime as part of our project. It would be a great learning opportunity for us, and we’ll make sure to align with the repository’s guidelines and structure.

Let us know if that works for you!

this is a very simple feature that does not make sense to migrate to the new version so please do not implement it.
