As a user, I want to be able to integrate this with my XLights system.

Exploration needs to be taken here to see if we can communicate directly with an existing XLights setup to control LEDs.
There does seem to be an API, however whether it's low enough level to turn pixels on and off individually is another matter.

If we can't, then we would have to support all the USB / Ethernet hardware that XLights supports which I don't think is reasonable. This would include:

  • USB - DMX, Pixelnet, LOR dongle, LOR optimized, D-Light, Renard, or OpenDMX Controllers
  • Ethernet - Artnet, E1.31, DDP, or ZCPP Controllers
