HDMI In for Alienware Alpha not working #249

HDMI In feature of the Alienware Alpha does not currently work under alchemist 145 with both the stable (Nov) client, or the latest (Dec 9) client.

This feature is reportedly an option from the system menu, but does not show up when a set top box is currently plugged into the HDMI In port.

Hello,

Can you try opting into alchemist_beta to get the update 147 kernel? I believe cable detection might be fixed there.

Just tested on alchemist_beta 148, and HDMI input does indeed work from the system menu.

Tested various resolutions (1080P/720P) and both 50hz and 60hz, all working great. Stereo sound via HDMI also works.
