<h2>Some Important Events of Sir Tim Berners-Lee's Life</h2>

<li>Sir Tim was born on 8th June, 1955 and his birth place was <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London">London</a>,<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom">United Kingdom</a>.</li>
<li>His other names TimBL or TBL.</li>
<li>His parents are <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conway_Berners-Lee">Conway Berners-Lee</a> and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Lee_Woods">Mary Lee Woods</a>.</li>
<li>He got Bachelor of Arts in Physics at <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Queen%27s_College,_Oxford">The Queen's college,Oxford</a> in 1976.</li>
<li>In 1978,he joined D.G.Nash in Ferndown,Dorset and helped in creating type-setting software for printers.</li>
<li>He became an Independent contractor at <a href="https://home.cern"><abbr title="The European Organization for Nuclear Research">CERN</abbr></a>,the largest internet node in Europe.</li>
<li>In 1989,the time came,when Sir Tim Berners-Lee invented <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Wide_Web"><abbr title="World Wide Web">WWW</abbr></a> at <abbr title="The European Organization for Nuclear Research">CERN</abbr>.</li>
<li>Sir Tim put the first website online for the first time on 6th August,1991.</li>
<li>He founded the <a href="https://www.w3.org"><abbr title="W3C">World Wide Web Consortium</abbr></a> at <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massachusetts_Institute_of_Technology"><abbr title="MIT">Massachusetts Institute of Technology</abbr></a> and become the dirctor of <abbr title="World Wide Web Consortium">W3C</abbr>,in 1994.</li>
<li>In 2001,Sir Berners-Lee was elected a <a href="https://royalsociety.org/fellows"><abbr title="FRS">Fellow of the Royal Society</abbr></a>.</li>
<li>He was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_New_Year_Honours">the 2004 New Year Honours</a> for services to the global development of the internet and was invested formally on 16 July 2014.</li>
<li>In the year 2007,he was appointed <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_Merit"><abbr title="OM">the Order of Merit</abbr></a>.</li>
<li>He was announced to work with <abbr title="United Kingdom">UK</abbr> Government by the British Prime Minister,<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gordon_Brown">Sir James Gordon Brown</a>,in 2009.In the same year Sir Tim launced the <a href="https://webfoundation.org"><abbr title="W3">World Wide Web</abbr> Foundation</a>.</li>
<li>He was honoured with <a href="http://qeprize.org">the Queen Elizabeth Prize</a> in 2013.</li>
<li>He also received the famous <a href="https://amturing.acm.org">Turing Award</a> from <a href="https://www.acm.org"><abbr title="ACM">The Association for Computing Machinery</abbr></a> for his invention(<abbr title="World Wide Web">WWW</abbr>) in 2016.</li>
<li>Currently Sir Tim Berners-Lee is working as a computer science professor at <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Oxford">University of Oxford</a> and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massachusetts_Institute_of_Technology"><abbr title="Massachusetts Institute of Technology">MIT</abbr></a>.</li>
