I am not able to installed plugin and another issue for wordpress.org refused to connect. #542

Hey,

I have tried to play with playground platform and it's amazing. but I am not able to see the WordPress plugin and theme list when trying to install them on the backside.

I believe this is technically a duplicate of #396. I'll give @adamziel a chance to confirm, but even though the description of the issue is different, the fact that we can't install these things is a result of the problem there (unless I'm wrong).

Closing this as a duplicate of #85 and #498. As @JUVOJustin, this is a technical limitation of Playground right now. The ?plugin= and ?theme query parameters still work, though, as is uploading a zip file. More details here: #85

I believe this is technically a duplicate of #396.

@dmsnell that issue is about telling WordPress it's safe to engage in a network connection. However, even when WordPress will allow reaching a specific network address, that file_get_contents("https://... "); call will fail as Playground in the browser does not support external network connections right now.

I think it should add proper message there :)

@sumitsinghwp yes, this would be fantastic! There's an open issue for that here: #498
