Attempts for Crackling Shards may not be reliably tracked (potential conflict with Alunira) (?) #765

Although I can't find the post right now, it's been reported on Discord that attempts for Crackling Shard may not always be detected. If that's indeed the case, when I suspect it might be because the shards are tracked as a separate item and also part of Alunira. I have no way of testing this ingame and even if I did, it seems like a very long shot (exercise in futility).

What can be done, however:

  • Static analysis (reading the code) to figure out if it could cause a problem if the shards also serve as COLLECTION item
  • Create a similar setup with items that can be more easily gathered ingame, such as cloth or even grey vendor trash

I don't have time to do either, but maybe someone else does. Otherwise, there's at least a chance the report won't be forgotten.
