Original issue 1356 created by Omertron on 2010-03-17T21:39:41.000Z:

Would it be possible to add a configuration option which accepts any NFO file
found in a directory containing one or more movie files (AVI/MKV/...) as the
one describing the content of that directory?

This would be helpful for users who have a separate directory for each movie,
with NFO files that are not necessarily name compliant with the movie file.
For example using a "movie.nfo" file alongside "thisisthemovie.avi" or,
combined with enhancement request 1355, to accept "IMDB.URL" as containing
the IMDB url for "thisisthemovie.avi".
