Original issue 2119 created by Omertron on 2011-10-09T10:48:19.000Z:

What device are you using YAMJ on? Networked Media Tank, PlayonHD, Other?

  • PCH C-200 (Networked media tank)
    Please describe in as much detail as possible what new feature you want:
    Episodes gets the watched status from the TV Show not the individual episodes. It would be nice to get the episode watched status.

+1, it's a must :) I can remember if I finished watching a show but I always forget what episode I saw last time.

VideoImages should use the episode/moviefile.watched status NOT the movie.watched status.
Posters/Thumbnails/Fanart/etc should use the movie.watched status (rolled up from the file watched status)

I can't get this to work.
I've set videoimages.watched=true but it always returns true for episodes.
It works correctly for movies.

I've included the resulting TV series xml file I've tried it with.

In your XML only 20, 21 and 22 unwatched episodes.
Set this:
videoimages.watched=true
videoimages.xmlOverlay=true
videoimages.xmlOverlayFile=overlay-videoimages.xml

Use file overlay-videoimages.xml and your grafix files (watched.png and unwatched.png).

I guess I was a little sparse on information. I removed everything except watched.

This is the complete setup.

All videoimages gets the unwatched graphic.
