Original issue 2266 created by Omertron on 2012-01-11T17:50:33.000Z:
I have some education videos i've setup via NFO with a <tvshow> and multiple <episodedetails> entries. <thumb> and <fanart> work fine in <tvshow>, but <thumb> used inside <episodedetails> does not retrieve the image. i do have filename.nfo.skipUrl=false in place so the images are at least pulled for the tvshow thumb and fanart.
if i have a real tv series which has been automagically populated, the episode images are there - i just can't seem to get them via my manually constructed NFO.
Omertron says:
"
thumb isnt currently supported in the episode details
An enhancement request would be the way to go.
Or you could save the image with the episode
the format is
{episodename}.videoimage.jpg
"
I'd like to reference the <thumb> images directly from the web, so the latter solution is non-optimal.
thanks.

i've followed omertron's advice and just downloaded the images - naming them appropriately. works fine. this request can be canceled as far as i'm concerned.
