Original issue 2517 created by Omertron on 2012-10-28T16:31:44.000Z:

What version/revision of YAMJ are you using? On what operating system?
YAMJ: Version: 2.3 Revision: r2159. OS: Ubuntu 11.10

What skin are you using?
1073rss. This is a modified skin for RSS Jukeboxes

What device are you using YAMJ on? Networked Media Tank, PlayonHD, Other?
Pivos AIOS HD

What steps will reproduce the problem?
In order to reproduce the problem it is necessary a Realtek 1073 family chipset device, as Pivos AIOS or HiMedia HD600b.
The step will be found here (http://bbs.himedia.com.au/index.php?action=printpage;topic=656.0)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A fully functional YAMJ skin. I got the YAMJ skin on my device but when I play a mkv file, the subtitles do not show. (nor the embedded ones neither the .srt ones). Everything else looks fine.

Please provide any additional information below.
I had a PCH100 I was happy using YAMJ with Aeon skin. But after 4 years my device died. Now I have a Pivos AIOS HD (based on other chipset) which does not run html file (index.html), so my previous Jukebox was unable to run on it. This is because my new device runs based on rss file. (you can find information here (http://www.pivosforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=746) but this Jukebox is Ugly and it does not support TV Series. I really love YAMJ.

I don't know how the skin affects the playing of the subtitles.
Can you explain what you want changing in YAMJ?

Actually YAMJ is working pretty good. I think the issue is with the 1073rss skin designed by Ilgizar Mubassarov. He is supporting the project "multrss" a YAMJ skin for media players based on chip Realtek 1073/1283. (http://code.google.com/p/multrss/)
I think I should change this issue as an Enhancement, in order to request YAMJ support for media players based on chip Realtek 1073/1283.
