Comment #7 originally posted by Omertron on 2010-02-09T22:12:24.000Z: Ok, I say just in comment# 3, that year is not valid inside tvshow, use premiered instead, Regards |
Comment #8 originally posted by Omertron on 2010-02-09T22:29:34.000Z: premiered does work as a work-around. But this is still an issue in my mind. Having a year in the file name shouldn't |
Comment #9 originally posted by Omertron on 2010-02-09T22:37:13.000Z: Nice for the workaround (it's not a workaround, it's the purpose of nfo file). So now, on the issue you'r talking, can you explain to me ? So 2005 is the year for this one. |
Comment #10 originally posted by Omertron on 2010-02-09T22:49:36.000Z: Ok, take a series with out the year in the title. Dexter Here is my xml for season 4 and here is thetvdb.com entry for the first episode in that season http://thetvdb.com/?tab=episode&seriesid=79349&seasonid=41602&id=446798&lid=7 Each season year should be independent from the year in the title. Original issue 855 created by Omertron on 2009-06-05T17:43:57.000Z:
Series: Doctor Who (2005)
Files are named in the format
Doctor Who (2005) 4x01 - Partners in Crime.avi
When I go to season 4 (which aired in 2008) detail page the year displayed
is 2005. This is the same for all seasons. All of my other tv series
display the correct year that the season started in.
