How can i initialize client on startup under Init method of python.

Trying to initialize the session client on global level and set on the class level. But seems unable to make it. Can you guide me how to archive the same?

main.py

if __name__ == "__main__":
    args...
    try:
        sys.exit(asyncio.run(setup(args)))

async def setup(args):
    session = get_session()
    sqs_client = session.create_client('sqs')         <----- not working
    runner = ClassRunner(s3_client=s3_client, sqs_client=sqs_client)
    runner.start()

classrunner.py

ClassRunner:
       def __init__(self, s3, sqs):
            self.s3 = s3
            # set here..
       def start():
            # use it here...
