Computing set of plans diversity

User Story

Nowadays, diverse planners are getting more attention in the planning community. The primary objective of diverse planners is to generate a set of different plans, and how to compare the developed plans from two other diverse planners is a challenging task.

The standard way of doing this is to compute the diversity model score using a distance function. Research has addressed this issue by suggesting different diversity models, such as MaxSum and MaxMin. Also, researchers suggested different distance functions, such as stability and state distance functions.

I have implemented some of those based on UP here. However, I aim to integrate such computation inside UP itself since having a standard framework that researchers can use to develop new distance functions or compare the diversity of their planners versus other planners.

I can help maintain such a feature since it is a part of my PhD on diverse planning.
