December 3-17, 2023 in Darker: Ruff format discussions and documentation updates

This period saw interesting discussions around potentially supporting Ruff's formatter as an alternative to Black. In response to a previously opened issue (#521), community members shared insights about Ruff's recent addition of a formatting feature. The discussion highlighted Ruff's claim of being 30 times faster than Black and a potential drop-in replacement for 99.99% of scenarios, sparking interest in its possible integration with Darker.

We also made progress on documentation improvements. A pull request fixing a typo in the pylint example in our README was merged (#520), ensuring our documentation remains accurate and user-friendly. However, this process brought attention to ongoing issues with our GitHub Actions, as several recent pull requests haven't triggered the automated CI checks. This has led to discussions about the need for maintainer intervention to address the CI pipeline, potentially requiring further investigation.
