Run literally any command

I have just discovered Albert and it's pretty cool, the only thing I'm missing is the ability to run virtually any command. For example, in dmenu one can do cp ~/.profile /tmp/.profile and it will simply be executed.

I can try working on it, just tell me if it is a good idea (maybe you have already discarded such idea?) ;D

Iirc this should work already.

I never use it though. Terminals (with completion) are way better for this. Maybe that's just my opinion but I need terminals that often that I have a drop down terminal. (iterm)

Agreed but there are some moments, when you want to simply spawn some util, e.g. kilall firefox or xkill. And I always enjoyed the ability to spawn something like this from such launchers

I have this plugin enabled, but simply typing xkill does not spawn any process. Maybe I am doing something wrong?

I wen through the settings for the 10th time and now I see that I have to prefix the command with > to make it work. Sorry for all the mess, it works just fine 😅

I made it a global handler once but it horribly polluted the output of a regular query with commands you would never run anyway. I hope the trigger is not to much effort for you 😅
