Every time some politicians try to "regulate" the Internet, the new set of rules cause more damages than advantages to all the users.
The Cookie-law was aimed by good purposes (defend end user's privacy) but turned out to be a nightmare for application managers.
We should implement a flag in order to activate a "cookie law - compliant" mode (disable Google analytics' cookie and activate IP anonymization). This would result in less precise statistics but will also eliminate all the "tracking cookies". Without tracking cookies the annoying "cookie policy acceptance" pop-up will not be needed anymore.
