Maybe I don't understand what this app is supposed to do, but my understanding is that it should remove perspective from document pictures and cut the background so that I only get a rectangular, full frame "scan" of the document. This is not what happens for me.

Steps to reproduce

  • Place an A4 document on the floor or somewhere flat
  • Start the app and point the camera at the paper sheet
  • When the app identifies the sheet (it becomes green) take a picture

Expected behaviour

Like I said, I'd expect the image to be un-projected according to the green area and the image cropped around it, then saved to the memory

Actual behaviour

Left border gets cropped (way too much, the document's left side gets cropped as well), while the rest of the image remains visible (ie: I can still see the floor around the document on the top, bottom and right borders

Would you like to work on the issue?

Just wondering if I'm using the app correctly and if I understand what it should do. I can help testing if needed.
