I was previously using a backup script that allowed for different retention periods per volume. Some of our volumes require long retention while others on the same instance do not. Would be great to be able to override the per-instance setting with per-volume settings.
Perhaps the same tag (scheduler:ebs-snapshot) when applied to a volume could override the instance setting.
