Right now, firebase requires the following:

ANDROID: >= 23.1.2
IOS: >= 10.10.0

Im in the same situation, @reidsolon do you achieve it??

Im facing with the podfile from cocoapods... it needs a new depency "pod 'GoogleUtilities', :modular_headers => true" below the of the plugin.xml file from this plugin.

Any news??
