7Zip reports data after the payload. Is this normal? Downloaded today.

Which zip file are you downloading? The source zip files are auto generated by github, I don't have any control over them.

My experience and https://sourceforge.net/p/sevenzip/discussion/45797/thread/12f4a318/ suggest that in most cases it can be ignored as it's usually that particular format's signature/comment/recovery data etc.

I've never had it produce corrupt files, and if I extract the same file with it's own format app, the resulting files are bit to bit identical.
