The easiest way to install AnkiDroid is via your favorite app-store:
3. Click on the downloaded .apk, and install
Note: You need to allow installation of non-Market applications in main Android settings (e.g. Applications -> Unknown Sources in Android 2.x)
Note: If installation fails for some reason, try uninstalling AnkiDroid, rebooting, and try again.
Note: Syncing with Anki Web is no longer supported on versions < 2.3.2
If these links don't work, open the Google Play application on your device, search for "anki", then in the results click on "AnkiDroid", and then on "Install".
You can also access the latest beta version on Google Play (registration on forum required).
- Choose the desired version:
- Latest stable release
- Latest development version
- Specific version >= 2.0.3: use direct URL, e.g. for 2.1beta10, 2.0.4, etc
- Specific version < 2.0.3 (not recommended).
- Download the apk with the standard browser (Google Chrome may not work)
