Description

• from postgresql: http://www.postgres.cn/docs/12/functions-string.html
• translate(string text, from text, to text)--Any character in string that matches a character in the from collection is replaced with the corresponding character in the to collection. If from is longer than to, the extra characters in from are removed.
• for example:
  translate('12345', '143', 'ax')--return a2x5
