Open Source Promotion Plan Summer 2020 (ISCAS&openEuler Community)
This program is hosted by ISCAS(Institute of Software Chinese Academy of Sciences) and openEuler community. It is very similar with Google Summer of Code. This year(2020) is their first time to host this event. Apache Pulsar has been selected as one program project.

This program requests Apache Pulsar PMC member/committer to join the mentor team voluntarily. This program could have several mentors from the community. The mentors should be
- Be familiar with the project.
- Be a PMC member or committer.
- Have some available time to mentor students in 3 months. Several hours per week
- Every mentor could propose 3(max) tasks with details, which could be suitable for the colleague and master candidate.
- PMC/committer should evaluate and assist the mentors to do their works, if some ones need them.
- Have time to evaluate the results.

Any committer(PMC included) wants to be a mentor, please add your name here. If you are not a committer yet, but still want to be a mentor, please send the mail to the dev mail list, the PMC team will evaluate based on your contributions.

Project Introduction:
Apache Pulsar is a cloud-native, distributed messaging and streaming platform that manages hundreds of billions of events per day. Pulsar was originally developed and deployed inside Yahoo as the consolidated messaging platform connecting critical Yahoo applications such as Yahoo Finance, Yahoo Mail, and Flickr, to data. Pulsar was contributed to open source by Yahoo in 2016 and became a top-level Apache Software Foundation project in 2018.
