Super stoked to hear that. Shorts are making the platform unusable.

In the meantime, here is how you can reduce the amount of shorts that show up in your feed. Go to your watch history and delete every single short you’ve ever watched. If you miss one, this won’t work. 99% of shorts are tagged with #shorts so they’re pretty easy to find.
Now, every time a short shows up in your feed, click on the 3 dots menu and press “hide.” Do this enough times, and YouTube will stop recommending them as much.
They will never go away completely, but there will be WAY fewer. Just don’t make the mistake of watching one, or half your feed to be shorts again.

This worked pretty well for me. I almost never see shorts in my home feed anymore, and only occasionally in my sub feed. There’s still a ton in my search results though.

I hope this helps for now!
