Instructions:

1. Go to root folder of Lobstex and save wallet.dat file somewhere safe
   2.Remove all contents in root folder including wallet.dat (please copy whole folder somewhere before deleting)
   3.Run wallet - it will run as fresh wallet, let it run for few minutes. After running for some minutes close wallet
2. Go to github repository and download Bootstarp file (Bootstrap28Mar2022)
3. Copy bootstrap folder files namely blocks, chainstate, lobstex.conf and peers.dat. Go to root folder of lobstex and new files and folders replacing old folders
4. Run wallet again, check if it has 1-2 connections, if yes close wallet
5. Go to root folder and replace wallet.dat file which you have saved in first stage.
6. Run wallet and let it sync (it will rescan for some hours)

6. Go to http://explorer.lobstex.com/network and copy addnodes
7. Go to lobstex.conf file in root folder and addnodes, save it and close lobstex.conf
8. Run wallet again, check if it has 1-2 connections, if yes close wallet
9. Go to root folder and replace wallet.dat file which you have saved in first stage.
10. Run wallet and let it sync (it will rescan for some hours)

4. Go to github repository and download Bootstrap file (Bootstrap01Dec21.zip)
5. Unzip it and Copy bootstrap folder files namely blocks, chainstate, peers.dat and peers.txt and go to root folder of lobstex and add (paste) blocks, chainstate, peers.dat and peers.txt replacing old folders
6. Run wallet again, check if it has 1-2 connections, if yes close wallet
7. Go to root folder and replace wallet.dat file which you have saved in first stage.
8. Run wallet and let it sync (it will rescan for some hours)

Mandatory Update - v2.4.0

Rollback of chain. This update is mandatory as the Lobs chain was attacked. Chain has been rolled back to mitigate the attack. Please follow the instructions step by step to update the wallet.

Steps:

1. Take backup of wallet (wallet.dat) to somewhere safe
2. Take backup of whole Lobstex folder in Appdata (root) somewhere safe
3. Download 2 files from release - one the wallet file as per OS and second Bootstrap file (bootstrap file has blocks and chainstate folders).
4. After download, Run Qt wallet 2.4 on existing wallet particulars and let it run for 5-10 minutes
5. Close wallet
6. Go to Root folder; C:-User-Username-Roaming-Appdata-Lobstex (on windows) and Application Support-Lobstex(Mac) and replace - blocks and Chainstate folders with Bootstrap files of same name
7. Run Wallet

There is a high probability of wallet being corrupted if steps are not followed.

Masternode script has been updated, please redeploy your masternodes on new protocol.

Wallet v2.3.1 works over previous version wallet, just run the new wallet over previous one.
Lobstex chain will soft fork at Block 573080.

09 October bootstrap is attached: Remove everything from root folder except wallet.dat, lobstex.conf and masternode.conf and add Blocks and Chainstate folders from bootstrap09oct.zip file, restart wallet and let it sync.

Mandatory Update - Code base overhaul - New Reward Structure

Mandatory Update

Wallet v2.3 works over previous version wallet, just run the new wallet over previous one.
Lobstex chain will fork at Block 560000 and thus all the previous version wallet holders coins/stakes will be invalid after fork. Zerocoin protocol has been removed from the wallet due to its vulnerabilities.

For Masternodes there is no automated script, kindly update respective masternodes manually. Manual guide will be provided to you.

This is the final release and those who had tested new wallets have to update to this version.
