Hi all, cool project, any plans to add it to Hackage and Nixpkgs? I see you're already Nix users.

I submitted a packaging request for it, and they asked me to check if it's being included Hackage, which would make it easier to add to nixpkgs.

@byrongibson yes we fully intend to add it to Hackage, nixpkgs automatic code generation scripts that produce derivations from the Hackage database should automatically pick it up once we release it.

The only reason we haven't yet is that there are a few things we want to improve first, I think. We'll talk about it and leave an update here.

@byrongibson Feedback following the spectacle's announcement gave me good measure on areas of the language which need ergonomic improvements or more documentation. I would like to resolve issue #27 before distributing spectacle on any package collections since #27 is not only useful to me but has been requested several times by others interested in using spectacle.

Spectacle has been released at version 1.0.0 and published to Hackage: https://hackage.haskell.org/package/spectacle. Nixpkgs should pick this up automatically now.
