aws-amplify-react-native UI Components

In the Amplify docs it says that the album component is only available for React or Angular, and Vue, which means that there is not an album component for react native

But when I look into the aws-amplify-react-native source code I see that there actually is a react native album component and is added a year ago.

So what I want to know is whether it's safe to be used in production or not yet.
If it's ready then why is it not documented, I feel like I'm missing something.
