  • Applicable to company types: BC, BEN, ULC, CCC, C
  • General Provisions:
  • As per the provisions of BCA, section 166 (1) (b) (iii), a company can request approval from the Registrar to hold their AGM outside of BC.
  • We are moving this filing from Staff only to Client filing, with Staff as a backup.
  • The company needs to be In Good Standing to be able to proceed with this filing.
  • A Reason needs to be entered for the filing.
  • The requested location could be in Canada or International.
  • For the newly requested location, the client would be requested to enter only a City, Province/State, as applicable and Country.
  • For locations outside of Canada, the Province/State field would be optional.
  • Main actor - client, secondary actor - BC Registries Staff.
  • The Certify section applies like for any regular filing.
  • There is no charge for this filing, independent of who is filing it.
  • The Pay engine would be invoked and a Receipt with a zero charge would be generated.
  • Form
  • Currently there are no forms in place. Clients communicate directly with BC Registries Staff.
  • Do we need a Form created? - No, as per Linda, Oct. 26, 2023
  • Business Process Flow Map - Up-coming.
