• how many companies are dissolved and created every year (last 10 years?)
• Number of entities by number of directors
  • 1 director
  • 2-3
  • Over 4
• How many companies file by themselves vs filings done by lawyers?
• Number of non BC residents that we do business with

For "How many companies file by themselves vs filings done by lawyers?", Do you know how I can tell if the filing was done by lawyer or not? I ask Richard this question and it seems we don't have a field to tell if the filing was done by lawyer or not at this moment, right?

After I talked to Bob Bowles, he mentioned that he determined if the filing was done by lawyer or not by "payment and bconline_account and bconline_busi_type" from oracle database CPRD. In other words, if the payment was done by any other payment types such as credit card payment, cash, or Pre-Authorised Debit, the filing wouldn't be counted. Plus, BC OnLine drawdown account isn't implemented in our new system (LEAR) yet. Do you think if we still need to have a data for "How many companies file by themselves vs filings done by lawyers"?
