I don't know if there's enough time to publicise this but I'm keen to run a Christmas wrapping paper workshop for little kids next week.
Here's what it would be:
For kids 8 months - 2.9yo
Thursday morning (with Silvia/Mika) at 09h00 or 10h00 - 11h30, so would require @nelsonic to take A1 to the forest! 😬
1 metre long pieces of ikea roll paper, masking taped to the ground/plastic sheeting throughout the playroom
Taste safe paints (depending on the age of the kids because taste safe paints don't leave much of a mark) in Christmas colours
Parents can add a little glitter sprinkle at the end
All kinds of implements: brushes, potato stamps, sponges, animals, etc
Also cutting and heart punching for the older kids with these materials available to be stuck to the wrapping paper
Painting, Christmas/practical life shelf and movement area (with hard sports equipment cleared out - hallelujah 🤞 ) would be open and other shelves covered in sheets to minimise distractions. The sheets would come off at the end of the session
Essential: an introduction to the space where next year we will be running co-working space playgroups 2 mornings a week throughout the winter in a Montessori inspired place.
