UI buttons sometimes fail to work on first click

For whatever reason, sometimes all UI on screen (not just my custom buttons) only works after one click anywhere on the screen. This is most noticeable with the ScoreboardCharacters mod because everything else also has keyboard shortcuts.

No idea why this happening (might be an issue with MelonLoader, Proton, game itself, or any combination of these). The workaround is to doubleclick the mod's buttons to make sure it went through.
